Time control is a superpower wherein a character can control time in some way.

Varieties

  • Rewinding Time. Selectively reversing time to a previous state, as if loading a save file.
  • Timeflow Control. Selectively controlling the speed at which time flows. This includes speeding up time and slowing down time. While reversing time is technically also controlling the flow of time, this falls under the Time Travel category.
  • Timeline Manipulation. Any direct interaction with a timeline as a physical object falls under this category. Can also mean consciously creating or erasing timelines.
  • Time Stopping. The ability to selectively stop timeflow entirely.
  • Time Travel. Being able to selectively move things into another time, most commonly yourself.

Examples

  • Age Manipulation:
  • In Ultra Super Adventure, Freja physically removes the concept of old age from Ratters, a cat, turning them into a kitten in the process.
  • Viridi is an attribute thief, and keeps herself young by giving away her age to other people, making herself younger and other people older.
  • Retroactive Changes:
  • Freja is mentioned unconsciously causing retroactive changes into her multiverse in Ultra Super Adventure.
  • Rewinding Time:
  • Sol is shown reversing time after accidentally toppling a building in Ultra Super Adventure.
  • Timeflow Control:
  • Sophie Choice uses her powers as a Time Goddess in the chapter 'Time control powers' of The Omni Story to slow down time within her rival actress Christine Addario's dressing room, to make it seem like it's taking her hours to get cleaned up. In the following chapter, 'Get Christie Fired', an alternate-timeline version of Sophie uses her powers to speed up time to recuperate from a mind-breaking orgasm in a matter of seconds. After getting a mind-breaking orgasm herself, the original Sophie speeds up time relative to herself to recuperate faster, while the alternate Sophie places a time slowdown to negate this.
  • Timeline Manipulation:
  • In the chapter 'Retry and mess with the Director instead' of The Omni Story, Sophie uses her powers as a Time Goddess to erase her current timeline and revert herself back to the old one, causing an ending. She then appears in the other branch of the story as 'Alt-Sophie'.
  • Neyla Luna^2 Wilkins mentions using timelines like rope to bind herself and Anon.
  • Time Stopping:
  • Sol is shown stopping time in Ultra Super Adventure to relay a message to the entire world, excluding Freja.
  • Time Travel:
